Up and running in three steps.
Install it
Mac: open the .dmg, drag Glance into Applications, then open it. When macOS asks if you're sure, click Open, then allow Screen Recording and Accessibility. Windows: run the installer and open Glance from the Start menu. It lives in the system tray by the clock.
Sign in
Open Glance's Settings and choose Sign in with Shopify. Use the same email you used for your order, so Glance knows your plan. Glance never sees your password.
Ask
Press Option + Space on a Mac, or Alt + Space on Windows, from any app, and ask about whatever is on your screen.

Do I need a plan to use Glance?
Yes. You can download Glance for free, but you need an active Glance plan to sign in and ask questions. Plus and Max are on our plans section.
Windows says "Windows protected your PC". Is that normal?
Yes. The Windows installer isn't signed with a paid code-signing certificate yet, so Windows shows this warning for new apps. Click More info, then Run anyway.
macOS asks if I'm sure I want to open Glance.
That's normal for apps downloaded from the internet. The Mac app is signed and notarized by Apple. Click Open.
Which version do I need?
Glance for Mac needs macOS 14 or later. Glance for Windows needs Windows 11.
Where do I manage or cancel my plan?
In Glance, go to Settings, then Account, then Manage account, or sign in to your account on this website. You can cancel any time.
Something isn't working.
Email support@glanceapp.app with your order number and what happened. If Glance doesn't work on your computer, you can get a full refund of your first payment within 7 days.
